How to get to Romblon

I thought Romblon, Romblon before was a very far and hard to reach place. But when I got the chance to visit the place its kinda tough travel but enjoyable. Maybe because it's my first time and roads are not yet develop. But the last time I went back to the island and notice the road development going to the port of San Agustin where you can ride a bangka/motorboat or ferryboat to reach the island of Romblon, Romblon.

How to get there from Iloilo: The Long Way...
If you're from outside of Panay area and land in Iloilo Airport, just take a cab that will take you straight to Tagbak Terminal or a van going to SM City Mandurriao that will just cost you 50 pesos. From SM City you can choose if you take a cab or jeepney. If you have the budget you can take a cab that has a starting flag-down of 40 pesos. But if you have a tight budget and like to go joyride you can take a jeep that only cost 12-15 pesos.(Just take the overpass at the front of SM city, take a little walk and turn right then find the Leganes jeepneys. There's a lot of Leganes jeepneys that you can ride at the jeepney stop. Just tell the driver to stop at Tagbak terminal. Then find the Ceres Bus that will head straight to Caticlan Jetty Port).

This is the sample Leganes jeepney that you take when going to Tagbak terminal.
This air condition ceres bus going to Caticlan Port.

Road Map going to Caticlan.

If you are already in Caticlan you go straight to the 2GO Ticket Office fill-up the form and give it to the counter, pay and validate your ticket to the validation section in front of the Jetty Port or just ask security officers. After validation and taking your picture get a terminal fee that worth 50 pesos. You can check in and wait for the ship to Odiongan, Romblon. It takes you 2 hours or depends on the weather to get to Odiongan. After the embarkation you just ride in a motorcycle or tricycle to Odiongan terminal and tell the driver to drop you on the jeepney going to San Agustin where you will ride on a motorboat that cost 100 pesos and 10 pesos for terminal fee.
